Founded in 2000 by lifelong skateboarders Dan Askew, Adrian Frost and Nick Owen, Escapist has pushed to strengthen and bring attention to a thriving yet long overlooked Kansas City skateboard scene – a goal fleshed out with Fourteen Deep.
Two years in the making, Fourteen Deep is a showcasing of Kansas City skateboarding at it’s finest – featuring full parts from Sean Malto, Ryan Pearce, Max Chilen, Tyshuan Johnson, Joseph Lopez, Rod Harper, Dillon Aguilar, JW Hall and Arthur Dachiardi as well as a team montage featuring Ernie Torres, Garrett Olinger, Connor McCroskey, Mike Webb and Justin Hackel.
The video also features a friends section from other KC rippers and a ton of bonus material, including young Malto footage, bonus parts for most of the team, 20 minute promo video, owners part, photo slideshows, trailers and more.
